
Johanne's Kryptonite! Squares
Ingredients
Makes one 8x8 pan (16 servings)
1¼ cup (300 mL) semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) Skor bits
½ cup (125 mL) dried cranberries
½ cup (125 mL) slivered almonds
½ cup (125 mL) caramel sauce
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup (75 mL) all-purpose flour
Directions
Combine chocolate chips, Skor bits, cranberries and almonds; mix well and spread over second shortbread base. Combine caramel sauce, sweetened condensed milk and flour, whisk until smooth. Pour over top of base. Place both pans of squares back into the oven, still on 350°F (180°C) bake for 30 minutes. Keep refrigerated.
