
Greek Style Lamb Burger
Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground lamb4 sprigs fresh chopped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced
Sea salt and pepper
Directions
In a bowl mix all ingredients well, then, using your hands, form 4 patties, making each about 4 oz. (125g).
Grill each side on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes; reduce heat to medium to finish cooking. Remember: do not press your burger or you will lose the juices.
Assembly:
- 2 pita pockets
- 4 lamb burgers, cooked
- 4 tbsp (60 mL) hummus
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 8 tbsp (120 mL) Mini Greek Salad Topping
- 4 tsp (20 mL) tzatziki sauce
- Olive oil for grilling
- Sea salt
Cut both pita pockets in half, brush them with a bit of olive oil and sprinkle of sea salt then grill in a skillet. Gently open the pocket and spread inside with hummus, followed by lettuce leaf. Add burger and top with the Mini Greek Salad Topping and tzatziki.
